How close are you located to shopping and grocery stores? What about hospitals?
At Oak Haven, we are only about a mile from The Woodlands Mall and Waterway where there is a large variety of stores and restaurants. We have a Wal-Mart and an HEB less than a mile away. The highly rated St Luke’s Hospital and Woodlands Memorial Hospital are both located within a mile of our senior community.
At Lake Haven, there is a new Signature Kroger up the street. There is a Wal-Mart and Target within one mile of the property and two area hospitals, Clear Lake Regional and Christus St. Johns, within 5 miles of Lake Haven.
What kind of activities do you offer?
We have a full calendar of activities daily, weekly and monthly such as board and table games, dinners out, pot luck dinners, book reviews, aerobic exercises in the fitness room, bingo, dominos, bridge, and mahjong. We are always looking for new activities and services for our residents so our list of activities is always changing. We publish a monthly calendar for our residents so you will always be aware of the activities dates and times.

Do you offer any personal healthcare services?
Because we are independent active retirement communities and not assisted living facilities, we do not provide healthcare services. However, upon request, we will gladly provide a list of various local agencies that do offer in-home personal care services.
Are the residents friendly?
We have a very nice group of people living in both of our communities of active adults. They tend to look out for each other. Often, the residents who drive will drive the ones that don’t to the grocery store, doctor’s appointments, etc.

Do you allow grandchildren to visit anytime or is it limited hours to visit?
Your grandchildren are always welcome to visit. We have a small playground on each property for their use and also the pool for their enjoyment.
How do emergency vehicles get through the gates?
They have their own code to enter plus we have an emergency box outside the gate for the exclusive use of emergency vehicles.
Is there a charge for lawn care and maintenance fees?
There is no additional charge for lawn care or maintenance fees.
Do you allow sales people on the properties?
We have a “no solicitors” policy for the properties. And, our communities are gated to further prevent unwanted visitors.
